Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz meets with Spanish Ambassador to Pakistan
Bilateral trade between the two countries has increased by 25% in the last year
In a meeting with Spanish Ambassador to Pakistan, Francisco Pérez, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz welcomed the growing trade volume between Pakistan and Spain. The Chief Minister said that the increase in trade is a testament to the strong economic ties between the two countries.
The Spanish Ambassador said that Spain is committed to further strengthening its economic ties with Pakistan. He said that the two countries have a lot to offer each other, and that there is great potential for increased trade and investment.
The Chief Minister and the Ambassador discussed a number of ways to further increase trade between the two countries. They agreed to work together to identify and remove barriers to trade, and to promote investment opportunities.
The meeting was held at the Chief Minister's Office in Lahore. The Chief Minister was accompanied by a number of senior government officials, including the Minister for Commerce and Industry.
